A Lovely Museum to Visit

The new Rockmart Historical Museum is a great museum to visit if you grew up in a small town--the donations from town members really give you the heart and soul of 125 years of town life--it will bring back memories of similar times in your own town.  If you didn't grow up in a small town--this museum will show you what is so great about small town living.

The football from the 1950 season; a field jacket from WW2; the town's payphone, parking meter and bank sign; photos of the Black Homecoming Queen's Parade from the days of school segregation; a oak log water pipe; all of this and so much more! (and a great Welsh Settler's display too).

Downtown Rockmart, GA
