The 2012 Appalachian Celtic Festival, in Ringgold GA

St. David's Welsh Society Booth--
Many didn't even know the Welsh were in Georgia
THEY DO NOW!

The Clans & Societies' Booths--
even with Saturday's rain the turn out was great!

Drums & Pipes in the rain on Saturday Afternoon

The Dewi Sant, Clan Keith & Clan Douglas Tartans

Preparing to March into Church--
Clan Hay, The Welsh, Clan Keith & Clan Douglas

The Bally Beg Band Sunday Afternoon

The Clans & Societies waiting for Church to let out

The Vendors waiting for the same--
and after the Church they came!
This festival may be small in size but HUGE in heart--well worth the drive up I-75 almost to the Tenn. Line. The music is always good, the vendors are friendly and not over priced and the folks staffing the Clan & Societies Booths are a great collection of outgoing folks.

  1. Hello everyone,

The Stories of Rhys is a fantastic Welsh themed book series for children, and adults too. They are available as Kindle eBooks from the Amazon website. I'm sure that they will be a great success with Welsh communities around the world.
